Mt Leonard Station

Mt Leonard and Arrabury Stations aggregate to 755,000 hectares (1,864,850 acres). This property is used as both breeding and fattening cattle for the high quality domestic or export markets.

The Channel Country is a unique interior section of Australia. It is a part of the Lake Eyre basin where the rivers run from their headwaters in the monsoon tropics to the dry interior. It is in essence a desert that floods.

Seasonal conditions vary for place to place and year to year. Often the land is dry and much of it is desert. However, with careful management even in dry times the land and grass quality ensures that beef production remains high.
